How to Get That Perfect Christmas Wedding Theme
If you’re planning a winter wedding, we hope these ideas will inspire and delight.
Starting at the very beginning with your ceremony, try to include a Christmas tree here and there if you can. It’s a fabulous way of introducing your winter theme, and bringing some greenery into the venue. Adorn them with baubles if you’d like to, or leave them ‘au naturel’.

As an alternative to traditional confetti, fill cones with snow-like confetti and hand them to your guests after the ceremony. It makes for a fabulous photograph. Who knows… you might even get a few flakes of real snow!

Lighting is all important at a winter wedding, creating a warm, romantic ambience even on the coldest of days. Line your aisle with hurricane lamps, hang candles from trees and adorn every beam and walkway with fairy lights.

While you might not be enjoying welcome drinks on the lawn, it’s still important to add light and interest outside. Your guests will appreciate this when they arrive, and will always see lights twinkling on the trees through the windows.

When it comes to table centrepieces, choose something suitably twinkly and beautiful. We love these miniature trees. If you wanted to give this a more Christmas feel, you could hang miniature baubles from the branches.

As another favour idea, consider giving each guest a tree bauble. It’s something they will always cherish, remembering your wedding each year when they hang it on the tree.
