Couples will fall in love with the Boudoir at Bassmead Manor Barns. Styled with sophistication in mind, the Boudoir is a cosy and pretty space set over two floors and featuring plush carpets, sofas, two dressing tables and a full length mirror among other delicate details.

Fondly known as The Rickety Barn, Bassmead’s oldest building is a traditional timber construction with a warm, rustic, romantic atmosphere. Oozing with natural charm and character, it provides the perfect setting for a beautiful and emotional wedding ceremony. This barn is beautiful, distinctive and truly luxurious from the exposed brick walls, authentic wooden beams, and wrought-iron chandeliers. The antique upholstered love seat is a favourite feature of the barn and a popular spot for newlyweds to steal a further kiss and pose for photographs. In the warmer months, couples can also choose to tie the knot in our new outdoor ceremony area, The Thatched Bower. With seating for 150, this space offers a waiting area filled with greenery, separated from the main ceremony space with large, rustic doors, ensuring you can still have your big reveal moment before walking down the aisle.

Complementing the character of The Rickety Barn are two further contemporary barns, the stylish Bridge Barn and the garden which offer an array of options for the post ceremony drinks reception and the wedding breakfast itself.

And finally, at the end of a perfect day, newlyweds can retire to the brick-built Dove Cottage, the impressive honeymoon suite which is nestled in a quiet corner of the gardens. This luxury cottage is set over two floors and boasts a beautiful boutique décor, including a sumptuous bed, mahogany furniture, a striking black velvet sofa and distinctive lamps providing mood lighting. The cottage features a private patio, spacious lounge and sophisticated bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs is a traditional barn-style bedroom with beautiful views of the Cambridgeshire countryside can be enjoyed the next morning with a glass of bubbly in bed.
