Updates across our wedding venues

At Artemis, we’ve built our reputation around creating exceptional experiences across a collection of extraordinary wedding and event venues throughout the UK. It’s something we care deeply about, and it’s why we’re always looking for ways to evolve, refine and raise the bar.

That means investing in our spaces. Rethinking how each part of the day feels. And making thoughtful improvements that genuinely enhance the experience for our couples and guests.

So far, 2026 has been a busy one.

Across the collection, we’ve introduced new spaces, refreshed much-loved areas and made a series of considered updates, both big and small. It’s been a huge team effort behind the scenes, with venue teams, operations and marketing all working together to bring these changes to life while keeping everything running smoothly.

Here’s a look at what’s new.

Sandhole Oak Barn

A full venue transformation

Since joining the collection, Sandhole has seen one of the biggest transformations across our venues. Several key spaces have been reimagined, including a beautifully refreshed Dressing Room designed to feel calm, light-filled and perfectly set up for those pre-ceremony moments.

One of the most significant changes sits behind the scenes. We’ve brought catering in-house, supported by a brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen and an experienced local team. This marks the introduction of the Artemis dining experience at Sandhole, where everything is prepared fresh on-site, and menus are shaped around each couple. It allows for far more flexibility, creativity and attention to detail, from seasonal dishes to more immersive, personalised dining moments that feel completely your own.

Out by the lake, there’s something new, too. Sandy, the on-site food truck, adds a more relaxed, social feel to drinks and dining, perfect for outdoor moments and evening food.

To round it all off, the Granary Cottage has been elevated into a cosy, luxurious retreat for the night, while the Breakfast Room has been redesigned to create a warm, sociable space for the morning after.

Brookfield Barn

A more considered start to the day

At Brookfield, both partners now have their own dedicated space to get ready, something we know is becoming increasingly important for couples.

Lakeview is a calm, light-filled retreat overlooking the water, designed for those slower, more relaxed moments before the ceremony. With plenty of natural light, space to get ready comfortably and room to gather with your wedding party, it sets the tone for the day ahead.

Just across from it, The Lodge offers a more cosy, countryside-inspired feel. It’s a warm, characterful space where you can unwind, share a drink and enjoy the build-up in a way that feels completely your own.

There’s also a new guest bedroom on the way, giving even more opportunity for friends and family to stay and enjoy the full experience from start to finish.

Syrencot

A new space to gather

Syrencot’s newest addition, The Foldyard, is a beautifully designed outdoor reception space tucked beside the Farmshed and framed by the venue’s charming crinkle-crankle wall.

Inspired by the site’s heritage, the space has been thoughtfully reimagined as a relaxed, sociable setting for drinks, conversation and those in-between moments that make the day feel special. It feels like a natural extension of the venue, seamlessly connected to the flow of the celebration while offering something a little different.

Curradine Barns

Thoughtful changes that make a difference

At Curradine, the focus has been on refining those quieter moments at the start and end of the day. The Dressing Room has been refreshed to feel even calmer, more comfortable, and beautifully considered, creating a space that truly supports the flow of the morning.

Alongside this, a new Wedding Morning Brunch experience has been introduced in The Snug, a dedicated adjoining space designed for relaxed, chef-prepared breakfasts with your wedding party. It means you can enjoy food and drinks together without interrupting the getting-ready atmosphere, keeping everything feeling easy, organised and enjoyable.

The honeymoon suite, Midsummer Cottage, has also been reimagined as a more refined and cosy retreat for the night, offering the perfect place to unwind and take it all in once the celebrations come to a close.

Combermere Abbey

More space, more flexibility

As part of our continued investment in couple experience, Combermere is introducing a second preparation space on site, giving both partners their own place to get ready and enjoy the morning at their own pace.

Alongside the much-loved Keeper’s Cottage, the new Bothy offers a more relaxed and informal setting just moments from the Glasshouse. Thoughtfully designed with comfort and practicality in mind, it’s a space to unwind, get ready and enjoy those in-between moments with your wedding party before everything begins.

Together, the two spaces create a more balanced, easy-going start to the day, allowing everyone to settle in, spread out and fully enjoy the build-up to the celebrations.

Rivervale Barn

A balanced, easy-going morning

With support from the Artemis team, Rivervale’s owners are introducing Shepherd’s Rest, a second preparation space arriving in 2026.

Alongside the existing Pamper Room, this gives both partners their own place to get ready, creating a more relaxed and balanced start to the day. Everything has been thoughtfully positioned to keep the flow effortless from morning through to ceremony.

The Pear Tree

A subtle but impactful update

At The Pear Tree, new skylight blinds in the Orangery give greater control over light throughout the day.

It’s a small change, but one that makes a noticeable difference, helping create the right atmosphere and giving even more flexibility for photography, especially on brighter days.

Bassmead Manor Barns

A space for both sides of the party

Bassmead has recently introduced The Dudeoir, a brand-new preparation space set just across the moat.

With both the Boudoir and Dudeoir now available, each partner has their own place to get ready, relax and enjoy the build-up to the ceremony, something we know more and more couples are looking for.

Clock Barn

A new take on the bar experience

Clock Barn has installed a brand new bar to better support the flow of the day.

The redesigned space feels completely at home in the barn while making service smoother and more intuitive. A new pop-up bar also adds a flexible, more playful option, whether for welcome drinks or something a little different as the evening unfolds.

There’s much more to come…

This is just a snapshot of what’s been going on across our venues so far this year.

We’re always looking for ways to evolve our venues, whether that’s bigger changes or smaller touches that make the day feel that little bit smoother, more relaxed and more enjoyable from start to finish.

If you’re starting to explore, now’s a pretty exciting time to dive in.

Take a look through our collection and see which one feels like the one.
