The events bringing Artemis venues to life this quarter
It’s been a busy quarter for events across our portfolio. Our venues have hosted everything from high-octane product launches to intimate training days, milestone celebrations, and moving tributes this quarter. Each one asked something different of the space, the team and the day itself, and each one is a reminder of just how far our venues can flex.
Whilst the events are as diverse as they come, the approach remains the same across them all. Exclusive use, adaptable spaces and a team that understands the brief inside out mean our venues can become almost anything: a showroom, a boardroom, a celebration space or somewhere to gather in memory of a life well lived. Here’s a look at four events that show the range of what’s possible across Artemis this quarter.
An automotive launch with impact at Crumplebury
In April, Crumplebury handed the keys over to Strata, working on behalf of Fiat, for a three-day automotive launch. The event combined press activity with live test drives, turning the venue’s grounds and flexible spaces into a fully functioning launch site for the brand. Four vehicles took centre stage in the Great Barn, the guest car park was given over to test drives, and a valet area was on hand to keep everything moving smoothly.
Food played its part in bringing the brand to life, too. Guests were treated to a buffet lunch each day, with an Italian and Sicilian theme running through the menus in a nod to Fiat’s heritage, alternating across the live days to keep things feeling fresh. The event also included a dedicated influencer day, with guests making their own pizzas and enjoying mocktails in Green Cow Kitchen.
Events like this ask a lot of a venue: space for vehicles and driving routes, a setting polished enough for press attention, and a team that can flex around a tightly run schedule while adding personality wherever they can. Crumplebury delivered on all fronts, proving that our venues aren’t just built for celebrations, they’re built for brands that need somewhere memorable to make an entrance.

Training with impact at The Pear Tree
May saw The Pear Tree welcome Pickford Travel, working on behalf of Monster Energy, for not one but two multi-day training events. These were intimate gatherings, but by no means small in ambition, with 24-hour rates in place to give delegates the space and time to properly focus, connect and recharge between sessions.
We provided accommodation for both training events and provided catering that followed the rhythm of each day. On day one, we cooked up an informal BBQ to set a casual tone, followed by a formal sit-down meal on day two. In between, working buffet lunches and breakfasts kept delegates fuelled and on schedule without pulling focus from the training itself.
It’s a great example of how Artemis venues work just as well for focused, purposeful business events as they do for big celebrations. And with the client already back on the calendar for a July event, along with more in the pipeline for later in the year, it’s the kind of repeat relationship we love to build.
A milestone celebration returns to Old Palace Chester
June brought White Oak back to Old Palace Chester for ‘Oakchella’, their 40th bi-annual company celebration day. Returning clients are always something to celebrate in their own right, and having White Oak choose us again for such a significant milestone spoke volumes about their previous experience.
There’s a particular kind of trust that comes with repeat business. It means a client already knows what to expect from the space, the service and the day, and chooses to come back regardless. Old Palace Chester rose to the occasion once again, giving the milestone the setting it deserved.
A gathering in remembrance at Syrencot
Not every event at Artemis is a celebration in the traditional sense. This June, Syrencot hosted a wake for a member of the ex-military community, drawing attendees from right across the country to mark a life and a service well remembered.
It was a day that called for a different kind of care: a warm, considered space to gather, reflect and support one another. The venue’s accommodation was fully booked for the occasion, something that’s rare for this type of event, and a sign of just how far people were willing to travel to be there. It’s exactly the kind of meaningful, human occasion our venues are built to hold.
Every event, given the space it deserves
A product launch, a training retreat, a milestone celebration and a wake could not be more different on paper. However, each one needed the same things from us: a space that could adapt to the brief, a team who understood the tone the day required, and the flexibility to make it feel considered from start to finish.
That’s the thread that runs through everything we do at Artemis. Whatever the occasion, whoever it’s for, our venues and our people are ready to bring it to life.
